About

DISCIPLES OF THE CROSS BLOG

Four people.

Four individual callings.

One church.

This is a blog exploring what it means to be a disciple of the cross.

An unified yearning;

to do what is right, to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God’ (Mich 6:8)

Transformation of communities, lives and hearts.

Genuine love; authentic faith.

One man.

Jesus.

ABOUT THE AUTHORS:

Rebecka Cotterill (is)

Swedish. Has always got cold feet (literally).  Loves creative chaos. Passionate about expression; of church, emotions, words and minds. Reaches new heights of inspiration after 23.00. Visionary, and has unrealistic time perspectives. Training to be a Salvation Army Officer at William Booth College, London, UK. Likes to think she one day can be a watercolour artist. Unpacks what it means to be saved by grace at least 4 times a day. Is inspired by stories of transformed lives. Is transformed. Loves chocolate.  Faints easily.

Ben Cotterill (is)

British. Has a passion for football and the mission of the church, especially when those things collide! Is especially interested in the international Salvation Army in a globalised world.  Married to one of the co-authors…it’s not Kalle! Speaks the Queens English and Swedish like a 6 year old…going on 7! Training to be a Salvation Army Officer in UK.

Fanny Ljungholm (is)
